VINTAGE TRANSPORT –

SAILING SHIP STAMPS

In 1975 NZ Post issued six stamps in a set titled Vintage Transport – Sailing Ships.

The scow, Lake Erie, was the 4 cent stamp in that release.

Others were –

8cent Brigatine “New Zealander” 1828

10cent Topsail Schooner “Jessie Kelly” 1866

18cent Barque “Tory” 1834

23cent Full Rigged Clipper “Rangitiki” 1863
