165TH CELEBRATION OF MEIKLEJOHN FAMILY ARRIVING IN NEW ZEALAND

Where: A trip on the Jane Gifford down the Mahurangi River from the Warkworth Town basin – lasting 2 hours
Time of loading : 11.15am
Fares: Adult $35 and Child (12yrs and under) $10 – note capacity 80 persons
Catering: BYO your own food and drinks (no glassware)
Bookings: Via email or text from 16 January with payment within 7 days of booking.

The Warkworth Museum are currently running a display of Jane Gifford and Meiklejohn artifacts. The museum is open from 10.00am until 3.00pm. We are negotiating a later closing on the 25th of February.
Further to our last newsletter the scow “Success’ formerly ‘Alwin G’ has been acquired by The Alwin G Heritage Trust and will in due course be shipped by road to Kaiapoi for restoration.
