March 16 – Sybil, schooner, 108 tons, T G Kelly from Sydney.
Passengers – Mr & Mrs Dodd and 3 children, Capt. Meiklejohn, Mrs Meiklejohn, and 5 children and Messrs Meiklejohn, Mr McGauren. – Henderson & Macfarlane, agents.
The schooner Sybil, Captain Kelly, arrived in harbour on Tuesday at noon, after a protracted passage of nineteen days from Sydney. Among the passengers by the Sybil are the Meiklejohn family, who have made themselves of some celebrity by their adventurous undertaking in the building and the navigation of the Union brig, built at Prince Edward Island. Mr Meiklejohn has sold his brig in Sydney, and intends to settle down in this Province.
